Father’s Day, “I Love Don Week” and my Birthday Wish-Lists

Just a reminder, we’re officially in “Buy Don Stuff” season.

For those who don’t know or pay attention, I keep a list of “Stuff I Want” here on my website, and I’m constantly updating it so people know what I want (and then “what I have” once I receive said-thing as a gift)

I’m not greedy, obviously, because I really only point out the “stuff I want” at Father’s Day, the week leading up to my birthday, and Christmas. If you think about it … I ask for “stuff” only for about 48 days out of 365 days in a year. See? Not selfish, at all.

I mean, yes, people are free to buy me things year-round, and that’s why I keep a list, but I don’t expect it outside of the Father’s Day, Birthday, and Christmas Seasons.

When you check out the updated “Stuff I Want” Page, you’ll see lots of great ideas and products that would make me (a) happy and (b) would improve my life.

Some of the ***NEW*** highlights for Father’s Day through my Birthday Week (aka “I Love Don Week”) include . . .

It’s important to check back often because things change. Sometimes, I get stuff and need to take things off the list. Sometimes my tastes change – for example, I’m all about 100% cotton and natural fibers in my clothes (as much as possible) because I watched The Plastic Detox on Netflix. Because of that, all my Collars & Co. and Mizzen + Main shirts are off the list and I’ve poured over the Interweb to find non-plastic, non-nylon, non-spandex shirts.

Also new? The slant board. I follow Knees Over Toes Guy (aka Ben Patrick) and he’s fanatical about doing squats and deep knee bends on a slant board. I’m going to 53-years-old in July and my mission is to live many, many, many more years and make them full of activity and free of injury. Knees Over Toes guy says strong knees, strong feet, strong toes, and a great sense of balance are more important that diet, cardio, or sleep.

So? Obviously, I *need* a slant board.

Anyway … have fun shopping. If you’re inspired, add a Comment of something you’d like to buy me and I’ll let you know what I think.

It’s important to know what you want in life, don’t you think?
