Multivitamin: Vitamin Code 50 and Wiser Men by Garden of Life

At the time of writing this … I’m 53-years-old.

I know. I know. I don’t look a day over 48.

I believe in multi-vitamins. Always have. I feel like I know when I’m taking a multivitamin regularly and when I’m not.

In my 30s and 40s, I was always looking for the “Performance” or “Active” multivitamin but now that I’m in my 50s, I’ve been looking for something different.

And something that doesn’t make my pee pee a bright neon green (because I heard that means all the nutrients are washing out).

I tested a couple brands bought in bulk from Costco (I won’t tell you the brands because I don’t want to disparage their brands) and a few from my local health food store (Better Health) … and I’ve found the bomb-diggity of multivitamins.

What Multivitamins Are the Bomb Diggity?

I’m giving Vitamin Code 50 and Wiser Men by Garden of Life the full Bomb Diggity rating because …

  • has stuff for prostate health
  • has stuff for blood pressure maintenance
  • has stuff for my brain and says it helps memory and concentration

This “brain health” thing is my new kick. This has a good blend of B-Complexes, Folate, Thiamins, Celenium, CoQ10s and more.

It says take 4 per day. You coooouuuuld do that, but I take 2 per day and space them out because I still take my scoop of Dad Fuel which is also full of awesomeness.

And no neon, super yellow pee pee.

Sorry to all the other multivitamin makers … I’m sure you tried, but if you’re not first, you’re last. Or, um, you’re just not “1st place” on my list. I’m sure most of you mean well.

There. If you’re 50+ and want a good multivitamin, 50 & Wiser.
