I write about American Idol. I write about The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor Pad. I write about new home construction (as a ghost-writer) and making money in luxury real estate (also as a ghost-writer). I tell my writing clients I need only 1/2-hour per day to give them blogs, Facebook pages, and Twitter accounts full of engaging content and interesting things. But the truth is, I need more than that. I need about a half-hour to get warmed up. Then a few minutes to get energized and get the creative juices flowing. Here’s how I get amped up to write.
