My 2025 Christmas Wish-List

For those new to my website and Blog, I have an ongoing wish-list for Father’s Day, my birthday, and Christmas. It’s not for me so much as it is for you. For my family, my friends, co-workers, and random admirers … it’s so they have an idea of what to give me as a gift if inspiration finds them.

My gift-getting has slowed recently. Probably my fault. I don’t hype-up and talk about my Stuff I Want List as much as I used to … well that’s gonna change. Also, maybe people are looking for new ideas. I get it. So here goes.

***NEW*** Mizzen+Main or Collars & Co. wrinkle-free dress shirts (white or blue only, Medium, relaxed or classic fit) …those are my favorite brands.

• WHY?  At 52-years-old, I think a dress-shirt at work is a good, timeless look. With jeans or khakis… it just looks sharp. I have about 12 dress shirts in my closet. When I’m motivated, on Sunday’s, I wash and press them. Pressing each shirt takes approximately 5-minutes so to press 5-shirts for the week is a 25-minute process. I usually do it while watching sports of some sort – so I’m multitasking. But … I have a couple wash-hang- and wear wrinkle-free Mizzen + Mains and I’m thinking …if I have 4 or 5 *true* wrinkle-free shirts, I can get that time back and, let’s face it, sometimes I just don’t do it and then I’m wearing a t-shirt under a quarter zip and calling it “good enough.”

***NEW***  Maestri House Rechargeable Waterproof Drink Mixer

• WHY? My breakfast is the same thing every day … 2-scoops of Dad Fuel in 16-ounces of whole milk. This has been a gamechanger for my health, energy, and protein intake. And I don’t use the “shaker” because it’s messy. I like to fill the shaker with milk and mix and then I use this AA-battery powered “frother” that came with Skinny Fit and it’s OK. But after the battery starts to fade, it’s weak. This Maestri Mixer is nice to look at (so it would look nice on the kitchen counter by my coffee station), it’s more powerful, and I wouldn’t have to replace the AA batteries every 3 weeks.

***NEW***  Frixion Pens (specifically the NEW! FriXion Ball+)

• I journal. Most pens bleed through the page. So I switched to pencils. But these Frixion pens have a unqiue ink that’s completely erasable – more clean than an erased pencil, actually. Sure, I could get these any time on Amazon or at Staples or Target, but sometimes my gift-giving public likes something small as an option.

***NEW***  Johnston & Murphy Upton Dress Cap Toe (Black) or  Cole Haan Men’s ØriginalGrand Remastered Wingtip Oxfords (Black)

• A couple “cool dudes” at work have dress shoes with athletic-shoe bottoms. And, I don’t have black dress-shoes in my wardrobe, so this is something that would round-out the crisp-dress shirt look with dressy jeans. I’m just kinda obsessed chasing down this “look”

***NEW***   Bamboo Tea Tray Table Box

• As mentioned above, I have a “coffee station” and I feel like I make a mess making coffee on the counter and I have a clear idea on how to use this tray table box in order to make my coffee making a little bit of a ritual. Then, when done with my 2 cups of morning coffee, I can clean my tray table box and put it away. Zen, baby. We’re talking Zen and tidiness. 

***NEW*** Digital Kitchen (Coffee) Scale

• First, my current kitchen scale is dying AND the little tiny screw for the battery is stripped and I can’t replace the battery, so my household does kinda need a new kitchen scale. But … if that kitchen scale was a “coffee scale” and if it was black to match my water boiler, the countertop Nespresso machine, and my Ember mug and charger … well … it’d just be cool. Plus, AeroPress snobs don’t eye-ball their beans, grounds, and water volume … AeroPress snobs are painfully exact in their AeroPress recipes and I want to be like that. Zen, baby.

There you have it. Maybe this will inspire you if the Stuff I Want List was feeling a little stale. If you didn’t want to buy me work gloves for the last three Gift-for-Don occassions, that’s on me … I need to give you more ideas that inspire your generosity.
