The Dawn of Don and Dad Fuel

Today was my first day of Dad Fuel. A couple months ago I read something or listened to a Podcast (go ahead, my whole family laughs at me, too) and it said, “the best way to take ‘greens’ type drinks is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.” My go-to brand has been Green Vibrance and, for some crazy reason, I was taking it with food. What a fool I was.

Then I switched to Skinny Greens because someone in my household, and I won’t mention any names, read something or saw something or listened to a Podcast and “subscribed” to Skinny Greens. So we had a couple unopened jugs and I started the “greens on an empty stomach first thing in the morning” and I must say … whoa. Life changing.

And because I started researching greens and protein powders … Dad Fuel found me and I bought it … hook, line, and sinker.

Dad Fuel says it’s “A Superblend for Busy Men” and . . .

“the ultimate all-in-one meal supplement. Expertly formulated to meet the nutritional needs of modern dads.”

I mean … look at this guy. It’s, like, basically me. A dad. In a cool kitch. About 50-something. How can I not immediately be a super fan and superuser of Dad Fuel?

I’m a sucker for good advertising. So I bought some Dad Fuel and took advantage of their Father’s Day special and gift-with-purchase and all the extras and today was Don’s Dad Fuel Day One!!!

In a word … noticeable. Meaning, I noticed something different about my morning at 9:00 a.m.  And could still kinda tell something was up with my bodily systems at 10:00 a.m.  And still at 11:00 a.m.  Must be all that mushroom stuff and Ginko stuff. I definitely noticed when it got to Noon and I wasn’t really craving anything and ate my cottage cheese and Kodiak Protein Oatmeal lunch and didn’t immediately find a Tootsie Roll or grab candy off someone’s desk.

MY RECIPE

I told you I got that free stainless steel lined shaker, right? Well, I put 14 oz. of 2% milk and one scoop of Chocolate Dad Fuel and shook it good and drank it. Pretty simple.

ANALYSIS

Day 1 was good. I want this to be my daily breakfast. Nothing else. Then my cottage cheese and high-protein oatmeal lunch – every day. Then a healthy, moderately portioned dinner and, if I can show self control, nothing else to eat after dinner.

GRADE

A.  It was a great first day. I’m a new man. Er, a new Dad …all fueled up.
