Father’s Day & I Love Don Week

***Attention*** This Blog Post is not the “I Love Don Week” and “Stuff I Want” list. This (what you’re reading) is a Blog post about the “I Love Don Week” list where I announce when shopping-for-Don season has officially begun. Sometimes I announce new items added to the list. Sometimes I talk about classic “I Love Don Week” moments and gifts …like, “whatever happened to Don after he got the Peter Grimm hat.” Don looked super cool on his vacations, that’s what.

See? Stuff like that.

Officially, there are 18 shopping days until Father’s Day. That’s mostly important for my kids and wife. But if you think I’m an amazing Dad and feel like rewarding me with gifts …I never turn down a gift.

More importantly, “I Love Don Week”, the week leading up to my July 11th birthday …it’s 34 days away.

And this “I Love Don Week” is going to be a big one. Because, on July 11th of this year …I turn 50!!!  I think it’s called a quintennial celebration. And if it’s not called that, well, let’s start calling it that.

Quintennial? Quintencentennial? Something like that.

I only have one 50th birthday, so let’s make it count. The “I Love Don Week” is the week leading up to my birthday and what people like to do is buy me things, and celebrate me, just about every day during that week.

If you’ve never participated, I’m making it easier than ever with more gift ideas, more affordable gift ideas (inflation has impacted gift-giving and I respect that), and I’ll be publicly recognizing all my gift givers.

Newly added items include:

• Eight Sleep Pod Mattress – it’s a mattress with a temperature setting and it can be different temps for him and her
• Moleskine Journal – I’ve been messing around with composition books, but I miss my Moleskine. Make mine the XL Classic Notebook Soft Cover, please.
